Background 

Accelerate Prosperity (AP) Pakistan is committed to empower ideation and pre-revenue stage businesses to improve the socio-economic landscape of Pakistan by developing entrepreneurial skills among the youth. This bootcamp will provide early-stage businesses and the aspiring entrepreneurs of KP with tools, knowledge, and networks to bring innovation and impact through their startups and to build future pipelines for AP’s incubation and acceleration programs.

Objectives of the Bootcamp

This bootcamp aims to promote the spirit of entrepreneurship among the youth of KP by equipping budding entrepreneurs with the tools to foster business ventures under the themes of sustainability, AI-driven digitalization, and climate resilience. Participants will be supported and encouraged to harness KP’s abundant natural resources, skilled workforce, rich cultural heritage, and evolving market trends to build innovative businesses that drive socio-economic development in the region.

Scope of Work

The consultant/firm will be responsible for:

• Industry Specific Content: Co-design knowledge-based content with the AP team, focused on opportunities in sustainability and climate resilience.
• Bootcamp Delivery: Deliver a 2–3 days bootcamp in collaboration with the AP Team.
• Networking and Partnerships: Facilitate connections with industry experts, investors, and technology providers to support the startups in scaling their innovations.

Deliverables

The consultant/facilitator firm will deliver: 

1. Outreach: Applications of at least 80-100 businesses for the businesses. 
2. Industry Specific content: Detailed content that covers the topics of sustainable practices in business, AI-driven tech solutions, and climate resilience.
3. Training Materials: Practical, sector-specific resources, including presentations, case studies, and toolkits, with a focus on real-world applications.
4. Bootcamp Report: A comprehensive report summarizing the bootcamp outcomes, including participant performance, key challenges addressed, and recommendations for scaling their businesses.

Key Focus Areas 

Businesses Focused on Sustainability: Support and guide startups which are committed to adopting sustainable practices in sectors such as tourism, construction, and agriculture. 

Climate Resilience: Encourage the youth & startups to counter the adverse effects of climate change by leveraging advanced technology in urban climate adaptation and disaster management and prediction.

Target Audience 

The bootcamp is designed for: 

• Ideation and/or Pre-revenue businesses focused on sustainable practices and climate resilience.
• Young and aspiring entrepreneurs seeking support in launching or designing their MVPs.

Location

The bootcamp will be held in a suitable venue in Peshawar that can facilitate hands-on technology demonstrations, workshops, and group discussions. The venue should be accessible to all participants and equipped with necessary resources for practical learning sessions. 

Required Qualifications

• The trainers of the consulting firm/individual trainers must have 3-7 years of training and advisory experience in the entrepreneurship space and relevant knowledge of the given subject matter. 
• Experience in providing mentorship to startups at ideation and pre-revenue stage.
• Strong industry connections with the stakeholders, investors, and subject-matter experts.

Budget and Payment Terms 

The budget will cover consultancy fees, logistics, marketing, materials, and all other costs related to the bootcamp. Payments will be made in instalments based on the completion of key deliverables such as curriculum design, bootcamp delivery, and final reporting.

1. A brief portfolio detailing their relevant experience. 
2. A proposed methodology tailored to the specific needs of pre-revenue businesses.
3. A detailed budget breakdown and timeline for the deliverables.
